In Good Company - International Women’s Day 2026
For International Women’s Day, we brought together a group of women we admire and created the kind of space we don’t often give ourselves enough of, one that allowed for genuine connection, thoughtful conversation, and, of course, exceptional food (a non-negotiable for us).
International Women’s Day has always been an important moment to recognise the achievements of women and the influence they continue to have across business, culture, and society. It’s a moment of visibility, and that matters.
But visibility on its own doesn’t change the systems women are navigating every day.
Celebration is important, and it should be part of this moment, but it also asks something more of us. It asks us to be honest about where gaps still exist, whether they are structural, cultural, or simply embedded in the way things have always been done. It asks us to look beyond intention and consider impact.
If we believe in women’s ambition (and in the future they are shaping) then the environments around them have to evolve to meet that ambition. That responsibility sits with all of us, particularly those in positions to influence hiring, progression, and culture.
What we were reminded of, sitting around that table, is that change does not come from one conversation or one event, but those moments still matter. They create space for perspective, for connection, and for the kind of thinking that doesn’t always happen when we are moving too quickly.
And sometimes, that’s exactly where it starts.
